VIDEO: Alex Bregman and Yuli Gurriel Draw First Blood for Astros in Game 4
By Sean Facey

Alex Bregman has had a relatively quite postseason, but the AL MVP candidate is doing his best to bust out of his October funk in Game 4 of the World Series. The Houston Astros' first baseman roped an RBI-single into left field in the first inning to help his team draw first blood against the Washington Nationals.

Prior to that run-scoring knock, he was hitting just .208 with six runs driven in in the playoffs. Suffice it to say, though, the Astros' cleanup man just came up big to get his team on the bird early in a pivotal game-- and Yuli Gurriel followed this one up with an RBI knock of his own.

Not a bad way to get things going against a whiff master like Patrick Corbin. So far, so good for the AL champs.
