Alex Verdugo, have yourself a day! Los Angeles Dodgers, have yourself a 2019! This rookie's second home run of the day, after he'd earlier tied the contest with a mammoth shot, gave the LAD a walk-off victory in the 11th against the Colorado Rockies.

Verdugo's now officially realizing his potential, hitting .303 with seven homers and 32 RBI.
It's certainly been frustrating for Dodgers fans to watch dominant seasons peter out at the exact edge in 2017 and 2018, falling in the World Series each time, but it's hard not to hold out hope for this remarkable group of charmed sluggers.
