VIDEO: Always Sunny in Philadelphia's 'Mac' Has Dream Catch With Chase Utley at Phillies Game
By Ryan Flores
A dream come true for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" fans. On Friday, Rob McElhenney, known for playing Mac on the hit show, finally had a catch with Chase Utley.
For those unfamiliar with the show, Mac has always had this one-sided bromance with the former Phillies star, and even wrote a love letter to him, in which he said that he wanted to have a catch one day.
Utley responded to it in a video back in 2013, stating that he was busy playing baseball, so he couldn't have a catch with Mac. Now that he's retired, that's completely changed.
It's a dream come true all around for Philly fans. Utley will forever remain a fan favorite in the city of brotherly love, as his Phillies 2007 World Series team was symbolic towards the identity of the city as a whole.
