VIDEO: Amazing George Springer Becomes 1st Astros Player With 3 Homers in First 4 Innings of a Game
By Michael Luciano

In just 116 games, Houston Astros outfielder George Springer has already slammed 38 home runs, and has established himself as arguably the best center fielder in the AL not named Mike Trout. Against Trout's Los Angeles Angels, Springer clubbed three home runs off of lefty prospect Jose Suarez in the first four innings.

While this feat has been accomplished a few times before in baseball history, Springer became the first player in the history of the Astros to find the seats three times in just four innings.

The race for the top spot in the AL playoff race and home field advantage just became that much more important. Springer regularly goes supernova at Minute Maid Park, and the more chances he has to find the Crawford Boxes, the better.
