VIDEO: Amed Rosario Crushes a Grand Slam as Mets Claw Back Against Marlins
By Ryan Giglio
For the umpteenth time this season, the New York Mets came back from the dead, this time thanks to Amed Rosario. The shortstop launched a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning, slashing the Marlins' lead down to 6-4.
It looked like the season was once again over after Steven Matz gave up six runs, including a grand slam to Jorge Alfaro, in five innings. Rosario's homer injected more life to a resilient Mets team still trying to earn that coveted second Wild Card spot.
They're down, but thanks to Rosario, they're not quite out.
