VIDEO: Andrew Benintendi Cuts Cleveland's Lead With 2-Run Shot at Fenway
By Scott Rogust
The Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians have split the first two games of their series, with Wednesday night marking the rubber match. Cleveland struck early and raced out to a 7-4 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning, but that was before Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi stepped up to the plate. With a man on first base, Benintendi sent a ball flying into the Boston bullpen in right-center field to cut the Tribe's lead to a single run.
Boston hopes to walk out of Fenway Park with the win and momentum, as they have an important series starting on Thursday against the AL East-leading New York Yankees.
