VIDEO: Andrew Benintendi Delivers 2nd Inning Blast off Domingo German

Just one batter after J.D. Martinez got caught looking on a questionable strike call to end the first inning, Andrew Benintendi got revenge. The Red Sox DH lifted a ball high into the seats in right-center field to tie the game at one in the second inning.

The solo home run was Benintendi's 12th of the season, improving his average to .287 on the year. He also came into today's game with 54 RBIs and a .360 OBP this season.
This is only the first game of a doubleheader for the Red Sox and Yankees, but if things continue as they are, we're in for a good day of baseball in New York.
