VIDEO: Andy Janovich Suffers Gruesome Arm Injury After Getting Tackled by Vikings' Eric Wilson
By Jerry Trotta
The Denver Broncos haven't had much to complain about on Sunday, as they've surprisingly stormed out to a 20-0 lead on the road over the heavily favored Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately, that narrative came to an abrupt hold in the closing minutes of the first half. Broncos fullback Andy Janovich (one of the few remaining in the NFL), sustained a gruesome-looking arm/elbow injury upon hauling in a pass from Brandon Allen. For those with a squeamish stomach, we advise you don't press play on the video below.
Janovich immediately exited the game clutching his arm in pain. He was subsequently carted off the field and into the Broncos' locker room.
You can see his arm bend awkwardly when he lands after being tackled by Eric Wilson, and he immediately grabbed the injured elbow after the play.
Janovich had already punched in a one-yard touchdown run in the outing, so he will be missed by the Broncos offense in the second half.
We're wishing him a speedy recovery from what seemed to be a brutal injury.
