VIDEO: Angel Hernandez Ejects Rick Renteria After Tough 3rd Strike Call on Eloy Jimenez vs Twins

Facing a powerful Minnesota Twins team, the White Sox already need all the help they can get. Unfortunately for them, Angel Hernandez was behind home plate. Hernandez, a veteran umpire, is clashing with just about every manager these days, and Rick Renteria is no exception. When Eloy Jimenez was called out on a questionable 3rd strike with the bases loaded on a full count, Renteria blew his lid, and he might have a point here.

We're going to give Renteria and Jimenez the benefit of the doubt here, especially with Hernandez's history of...how should we put this...debauchery. Hernandez is viewed as one of the worst umpires MLB has to offer, and no matter how tough his job there's no reason for him to be in the spotlight this often.

In a sport which is trying desperately to finally highlight its stars appropriately, the last thing we need is the ump show.
