Anytime an opposing player can earn raucous cheers from Boston Red Sox fans at Fenway Park, you know you've just made an amazing play. Los Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun showed why he's still one of the most underrated defensive players in the game today, as he robbed Xander Bogaerts of at least two but potentially three bases with a sublime diving catch in right field.
Calhoun, who is hitting .232 with 25 home runs this season, has three defensive runs saved in right field in 2019. Calhoun is a former Gold Glove winner, as he took home the award during his breakout 2019 campaign.
Calhoun is 5-foot-10, and he needed every inch to make this Superman-esque catch.
