VIDEO: Anthony Rendon and Howie Kendrick Power Clutch Nationals Comeback With 7th-Inning Home Runs
By Ryan Flores

Heading into the seventh inning, the Houston Astros had built up a 2-0 lead thanks to Yuli Gurriel and Carlos Correa. They had even managed to get Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer out of the game early. However, they left the Nats in it after standing too many runners, and now Washington has the lead. Anthony Rendon and Howie Kendrick launched big-time homers that gave the Nats the 3-2 lead.

Rendon went yard off Zack Greinke, who was throwing a gem, to give the Nats some life. Then, after Juan Soto drew a walk, Kendrick crushed this one off Will Harris and drilled the foul poul for a go-ahead two-run shot.
