VIDEO: Astros' Alex Bregman Says Social Media Uproar About Alleged Buzzers is 'Stupid'
By Michael Luciano

The Houston Astros don't seem too bothered about the seismic sign-stealing scandal that cost AJ Hinch and Jeff Lunhow their jobs. Alex Bregman even went so far as to laugh about the buzzer allegations ever since a clip from the ALCS resurfaced of Jose Altuve telling his teammates to not rip his shirt off. Bregman said uproar over that on social media is "stupid."
Alex Bregman on sign-stealing saga: “The Commissioner came out with a report, MLB did their report and the Astros did what they did. They made their decision on what they’re going to do.”

OH PLEASE. Yeah, it's really stupid that fans are starting to question a team that won one World Series, two AL pennants, and made the ALCS for three straight years, especially after confirmation that they cheated.
After Alex Bregman said there were no buzzers or wearable electronic devices during the 2019 season, he called the social media uproar about it "just stupid."

Bregman had a reputation as one of the best young players at any position in the league, but that's now in question, as the Astros were directly implicated in one of the biggest scandals in MLB history. Taking them to task over blatant and widespread cheating isn't just angry fans with an axe to grind, it's a duty to hold those who break the rules accountable.
I still don’t understand how the Astros got away with this for so long. Listen to this one. Alex Bregman is so arrogant he was basically asking for MLB to catch them. pic.twitter.com/ZrLsurrZgo

Sorry if you think all of this is stupid, Alex, but we are far from done holding the Astros' feet to the fire about this whole ordeal.
