VIDEO: Astros Commentators Lose Their Minds as Yordan Alvarez Launches 474-Foot Home Run
By Karl Rasmussen

Yordan Alvarez raked in the minor leagues, enough to earn him a promotion to the big leagues. Well, what did he do when he arrived in Houston? He kept on hitting. And he hasn't slowed down since. Alvarez took Mike Minor deep on Friday night, a solo blast that travelled a ridiculous 474 feet. No one was loving the homer more than the Astros' broadcast team, who were incredibly fired up in the booth.

That's no ordinary home run, and the commentators made sure everyone knew that. They were shouting like kids on Christmas, making it sound more like a WWE event than a baseball game.
But their reactions were certainly warranted, as Alvarez just destroyed that ball into the upper deck at MinuteMaid Park. This kid is lighting up major league pitching and he hasn't even played 30 games yet!
