VIDEO: Astros' Stadium Was Half-Empty Late in Game 2 and Yankee Fans Deserve Apology
By Adam Weinrib

Remember when Astros catcher Robinson Chirinos called out Yankees fans for leaving before the final out of the ninth inning of ALCS Game 4 in 40-degree temperatures, even though there was *no* way a comeback was happening? Of course you do! It was the exact moment you first heard of Robinson Chirinos! Either way, it might be time for Houston fans (and players) to take a look in the mirror after they wasted all of our time with that discourse last week, because the diehard 'Stros fans who would never do something like that just did something like that at World Series Game 2.
Look at all the empty seats when Maldonado went deep. Trash ass fan base. pic.twitter.com/TBSRlozv3b

Oh no! Surely, this is Fake News or something, though, right? This shot of the entire outfield in the ninth inning is Fake News? No Astros fan would ever let a $500 ticket go to waste.
If you think this is phony, you might not want to look at these shots from the eighth and ninth.
But I thought...Yankee fans scum for leaving early, Astros fans heroic and would never do that? Do I have that right? pic.twitter.com/c9PF5jobkt

There you have it! The Yankees are not the only fan base in the world that would do this. Astros fans left air conditioning early, for goodness sakes. That takes a special breed of bandwagoner.
Mr. Chirinos, any final thoughts?
Looking like a lotta empty seats out there in the 8th, Robinson https://t.co/TOlJQBvHTN

If I was an Astros player, I'd kind of feel disappointed in the ninth inning OF THE WORLD SERIES, WITH NO GUARANTEED HOME GAMES TO FOLLOW when the stadium was kind of empty.
