VIDEO: Astros Star George Springer Works Walks and Sprints Around Bases in Double-A Rehab Outing
By Adam Weinrib

The reeling Houston Astros need MVP candidate George Springer back as soon as they can get him, and the lithe outfielder took a few hacks on Saturday night in Corpus Christi. Fewer hacks than he would've liked, though, as it seemed the opposing Double-A pitchers were allergic to throwing him strikes. Springer's posted an RBI...but it came on a bases-loaded walk.

But his third walk of the night goes for an RBI to draw the Hooks closer! pic.twitter.com/D23plCfEMg
His third of the night was the most valuable, knocking in a run!
But don't worry, H-Town; Springer's hamstring looked mighty fine going first-to-third on this single into right.

Springer walked, then sprinted first to third on a @Abtoro13 single. He'd score on a @beer_seth sac fly! pic.twitter.com/HyYaKwMbo4
Now, let's bring this energy to Minute Maid!
