VIDEO: Austin Riley Extends Braves Lead With 3-Run Homer
By Michael Luciano

You let Nick Pivetta go into the sixth inning at SunTrust Park against Austin Riley and the Atlanta Braves, this is what you get. Riley continued his Rookie of the Year campaign by annihilating a Pivetta breaking ball deep into the left field seats to give the Braves a 6-2 just as the Phillies started to claw their way back into the game.

Riley's 15th jack of the season was one of his most impressive, as he took a Pivetta slider that was just off the black and parked it five rows deep into the left center field seats.
Keep in mind, this dude was riding the bus to road games in Triple-A until the middle of May.
Austin Riley blasts a three run shot to center, giving the #Braves a 6-2 lead in the sixth!! Homer number 15 for the kid...giving him 40 RBI on the season!

As the Phillies pitching continues to blow leads, Riley and the Braves are humming along and adding to their NL East lead.
