VIDEO: Austin Romine Gets Yankees on the Board Early With 2-Run Shot Over the Green Monster

The Yankees desperately needed to get off to a strong start against the Red Sox after dropping the first three games of the series at Fenway Park. It was a tall task, with Chris Sale on the mound, but the most unlikely of candidates managed to get a pair of runs on the board in the third inning, as Austin Romine crushed a two-run shot over the Green Monster.

Romine's blast was just his third of the season, and he now has 22 RBI to his name.
Sale couldn't keep the Yankees off the board for long, and the shot from Romine was the 19th he's surrendered this year, far surpassing his tally of 11 in 2018.
