VIDEO: Baker Mayfield Tosses Ball Directly to Patriots DT in Laughable Turnover Before Pats TD

Teams have yet to develop a formula to defeat the New England Patriots in 2019, but a good start would simply be to take care of the football. The Cleveland Browns, as is their nature, did anything but that in the first quarter on Sunday, as Freddie Kitchens' side committed a turnover on three consecutive plays at one point, one of which was returned for a touchdown. The third (and worst) of the bunch, however, came when Baker Mayfield laughably pitched the pigskin directly into the belly of a grateful Lawrence Guy.

That play was so utterly atrocious that we're not sure if Mayfield intended to toss it to Nick Chubb or Jarvis Landry. What on earth is the sophomore gunslinger doing here?
Tom Brady and Co. subsequently took the field and pounced on the short field the Browns gifted them, as No.12 found Julian Edelman for a seven-yard touchdown to extend their lead to 17-0 before the end of the first quarter.

Is this really how the Browns get up for their biggest game of the year? With two weeks to plan?! What a joke.
