VIDEO: Bears' Eddy Piñeiro Misses Game-Winning Field Goal as Time Expires Against Chargers

Despite their notorious struggles with kicking, the Chicago Bears called upon Eddy Piñeiro frequently on Sunday. Once again, the city's fans were left wishing the fates had left them a better option. After Mitchell Trubisky's fumble handed the Chargers an easy chip shot for a 17-16 lead, the Bears marched down field in hopes of winning the game anyway and erasing a lot of negative mojo. With a few seconds left on the clock, Piñeiro was summoned to kick a 41-yard attempt. Guess how this one panned out?

Yikes. The Bears out-Chargers'd the Chargers.

Chicago's kicking woes continue as Piñeiro, who's been reliable this season until now failed to come up in the clutch, bringing pack painful flashes of Cody Parkey's infamous "double doink" from last year's playoffs.

Parkey, of course, came up clutch for the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Is anyone shocked? There's something about Chicago.
