VIDEO: Ben Roethlisberger's Reaction to Antonio Brown Signing With the Patriots is Entirely Lame

Antonio Brown managing to loosen himself from the Oakland Raiders grasp only to sign with the New England Patriots hours later was every Steelers fan's worst nightmare. However, you wouldn't know that by asking Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers QB was asked about his former top target signing with Pittsburgh's rival after the Pats demolished Big Ben and Co. in their season opener. His response left much to be desired.

Brown is a pariah, and there's no guarantee he'll work out in New England even under the supervision of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Yet, Roethlisberger comes off as incredibly fake here, and definitely held back to avoid giving Brown and the Patriots more bulletin board material after New England's convincing win.

To make matters worse, this all came after one of Roethlisberger's poorest performances to date.

Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin have stressed team continuity heading into their 2019 campaign, with Ben even cancelling his weekly radio show. It seems he didn't want to ruffle any feathers on Sunday night, even after being betrayed yet again by one of his former best friends.
