VIDEO: Benches Clear in Thunder-Yard Goats MiLB Game After Player Bunts to End No-Hitter in 9th
By Seth Carlson

Who knew a bunt could be the source of such angst between two teams? It was for the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats and Trenton Thunder Tuesday night. With a trio Hartford's pitchers going for a combined no-hitter, Trenton's Matt Lipka laid down a bunt single to break it up with two outs in the ninth. That didn't sit well with the home team.

The Pride Night at Dunkin Donuts Park certainly got their money's worth! It's not everyday you get to see a dominant pitching performance get spoiled by a bunt and then have it followed up with a near brawl.

Call it what you will, but the Thunder did what they had to do to avoid embarrassment.
