VIDEO: Bill Belichick Giving Postgame Interviews Fully Needs to Come to an End
By Jerry Trotta
There's always a small number of instances throughout the NFL season where Bill Belichick gives a cringeworthy press conference for fans to check out. This time, it came following the 28-22 loss his New England Patriots suffered against the Houston Texans. Folks, feast your eyes on this painfully awkward silence when Belichick was asked about the Pats' pedestrian offense:
Can commissioner Roger Goodell please compose some sort of loophole that doesn't require Belichick to participate in postgame pressers? We simply can't stand to watch them anymore.
Forget the lack of analysis, the manner in which he's reluctant to make eye contact with anybody in the room is probably the worst part about it.
Belichick should just send one of his assistants to do press conferences now because the prospect of him being in front of cameras from this point forward is inconceivable, especially after a loss.
