VIDEO: Bills Run Trick Play for Isaiah McKenzie TD Against Lions
By Sam Dunn
In the NFL preseason, the expectation tends to be that teams don't show too much of their playbooks. Rather, it's about figuring out who's earned one of those last roster spots, shaking the cobwebs off, and getting in rhythm for the regular season. But that didn't stop the Buffalo Bills from running some trickeration for paydirt Friday night.
Where's that ball? Oh, right. Isaiah McKenzie played his role to perfection and made this sleight of hand count, scampering his way around the edge and scoring the opening touchdown of Buffalo's Week 3 preseason game against Detroit on the road.
McKenzie, entering his second year in Orchard Park, is mainly known as a kick returner. But given how hopelessly fooled Matt Patricia's defense was on this play, the Bills may want to go back to this one a time or two once the games really count.
