VIDEO: Blue Jays Stun Red Sox With 6-0 Comeback and Series of 2-Out Walks
By Sean Facey
It's the series of the comeback out at Fenway Park. After the Red Sox rallied from a 5-1 seventh inning deficit on Friday, the Blue Jays flipped the script, roaring back from down 6-0 to win 8-7 thanks to a pair of two-out, bases loaded walks.
Matt Barnes came in to shut things down for the Sox in the eighth in what had recently become a 6-5 contest, but after surrendering the game-tying run and loading the bases, he was replaced by Ryan Brasier, who walked Eric Sogard and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to make it an 8-6 game.
It's a brutal blow for a Red Sox team that seemed to have gotten their 2018 champion swagger back, and an incredible rebound from the Blue Jays.
