VIDEO: Blues' Brayden Schenn and Zach Sanford Slam Door on Bruins in Game 7 With 3rd Period Goals
By Scott Rogust
This is what we call "The Dagger." The St. Louis Blues led the Boston Bruins 2-0 since the first period of Game 7. Goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped every Bruins shot that was sent his way, and in the third period, Blues center Brayden Schenn extended the lead to 3-0 with a laser past Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask, thanks to a smooth pass from winger Vladimir Tarasenko.
Just minutes later, Zach Sanford made it 4-0 with a shot past Rask, officially sending Bruins fans home...literally.
All of St. Louis was sent into a frenzy thanks to Brayden Schenn and Zach Sanford. With just minutes remaining, this will do it.
