The St. Louis Blues were able to end the second-longest Stanley Cup Finals appearance drought in the NHL after a Game 6 win Tuesday night against the San Jose Sharks. Who inspired this Blues team on their monumental run? Blues winger Pat Maroon credits Laila Anderson, a St. Louis fan who's battling a life-threatening immune disease disorder. St. Louis was down 2-1 in the series to San Jose following a terrible missed call in OT, but they bounced back and won three straight to advance to the Stanley Cup finals to face the Boston Bruins. They may be the underdog in this series, but they seem to be playing for a much bigger cause. Don't count this team out.
