VIDEO: Blues Playing 'Gloria' as Fans Celebrate Stanley Cup Finals Berth Will Get Your Blood Pumping

It's been an awfully long time coming for the St. Louis Blues, hasn't it? Ever since their three consecutive Finals berths in the late '60s in a watered-down, expansion-only league, ended by a Bobby Orr dive, this city has been itching to get back atop the mountain. And Tuesday night, one drought finally ended: STL ran the Sharks out of the building again in Game 6, and got to play "Gloria" at full blast as the fans screamed their lungs out.
Yes, 20 games into the season, the Blues were in last place in the West. LAST. Now? They're the only thing standing between the Bruins' grubby paws and Lord Stanley's fanciest gear.
St. Louis has waited forever for this, and we're fairly certain Laura Branigan will be echoing through the night (and throughout most of the empty week we're about to experience, sans-hockey). Considering this song rang out for 24 consecutive hours when Game 7 went down in the semis, we're betting on Blues fans to be able to party right.
