By Scott Rogust

The St. Louis Blues strike first in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final! For a majority of the first period, the Boston Bruins put plenty of pressure on Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington, but were unable to put one in the net. With the Blues finally in Boston territory, Jay Bouwmeester unleashed a wicked slap shot that Ryan O'Reilly redirected past Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask to take the 1-0 lead.
