VIDEO: Bobby Bradley Launches RBI Double in First MLB At-Bat
By Michael Luciano
If there is one thing we know about young Cleveland Indians slugger Bobby Bradley, it's that he has some raw power that is unrivaled across most of minor league baseball. In his first MLB at-bat, Bradley showed off his strength by slamming a Daniel Norris pitch to left field for a ground-rule double, picking up his first big league hit in the process.
After slimming down to a muscular 225 pounds, Bradley was setting Triple-A baseball on fire with the Columbus Clippers, mashing 23 home runs before getting the call-up to Cleveland.
If Bradley is already taking left-handed pitching that far the other way, than the future is looking bright for the brawny Cleveland first baseman.
Add Bradley to the core of Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez and you've got a lineup ready to do damage for years to come -- that is, if the Indians keep the two veterans on the squad along with the young slugger.
