VIDEO: Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince Issued Technical Fouls After Scrap in Knicks-Nets Rivalry

If you thought that the New York Knicks were just going to roll over and let the Brooklyn Nets become the king of the Big Apple, you are sorely mistaken. In the waning moments of the first half of the team's showdown on Friday night, Bobby Portis and Taurean Prince were both issued technicals after an altercation erupted underneath the basket. Portis aggressively tried to force a jump ball with Kyrie Irving after the All-Star point guard grabbed his own rebound from the floor, and Prince subsequently swooped in to defend the honor of his new teammate.

And thus, the Knicks-Nets rivalry just became THAT much more potent. It's just the second game of the new campaign for both sides, and this is the exact kind of energy that we want to see on the hardwood.
