VIDEO: Brad Stevens Actually Made the Celtics Crowd Get Louder Before Subbing in Tacko Fall

The Boston Celtics had a comfortable lead late in Friday night's game against the Detroit Pistons. The fans sensed it was Tacko Fall time and urged head coach Brad Stevens to summon the big man from the bench. Well, Stevens wasn't just going to give into their demands. He made Celtics fans get loud in order to see the rookie hit the hardwood.

That was the most excitement you will see out of Stevens, but he still got the job done as TD Garden was roaring with excitement when Fall walked over to the scorer's table. The crowd treated Fall like a superstar in what was essentially garbage time in a game already in hand.
Fall made a name for himself in last year's NCAA Tournament as a member of UCF. The Celtics decided to take a chance on the 7-foot-6 center in the NBA Draft and the city has embraced him since his arrival.
Tacko Fall just got MVP chants at the line.

Stevens seems to understand the hype and did the right thing by leaning into the excitement. The guy got MVP chants, after all.
