VIDEO: Braves' Adeiny Hechavarria Unleashes Monster Bat Flip in Marlins' Face After 2-Run Homer
By Michael Luciano

You know you're hot when backup middle infielders are launching home runs off of a division rival's ace. Braves' Adeiny Hechavarria, who was picked up after Dansby Swanson hit the injured list with a foot issue, announced to all of Atlanta that he's for real when he slammed his first home run in a Braves uniform off of Miami Marlins lefty Caleb Smith, which he punctuated with a 10/10 bat flip.

Brian McCann is punching the air right now.
The 30-year-old shortstop, who spent most of this season with the Mets, has quickly endeared himself to the fans in Atlanta. He now has five hits, including two doubles and a homer, in five games and sealed a Braves win over the Marlins last night with a show-stopping defensive play.

The @Braves take this one 5-1 over the Marlins. We will wrap up everything on #Braves Live coming up next. pic.twitter.com/v26vEOY8Fi
In not even 24 hours, Hechavarria has won a game for the Braves and gotten them off to a 3-0 start. Not bad for a random late-season pickup.
