VIDEO: Braves Fans Accuse Brian Snitker of Snubbing Ronald Acuña Jr. After Home Run
By Sean Facey

Brian Snitker and Ronald Acuña Jr. haven't been on the best of terms lately. Things have just felt icy, especially after the Atlanta Braves skipper benched his superstar for not hustling. The latest evidence of their possible tension comes from a brief clip following a home run in which Snitker appears to snub Acuña as he enters the dugout.

Neither of the two seemed to even make eye contact as he entered the dugout. Snitker kept his gaze straight ahead.
Acuña seems to keep his head down, but it looks like he goes in to give his manager a high five only to realize that his gesture wouldn't be returned, after which he continues down the dugout steps.
Snitker on Acuna: "He didn’t run. You’ve got to run. It’s not going to be acceptable here. As a teammate, you’re responsible for 24 other guys and that name on the front is a lot more important than that name on the back of that jersey."

Such tension is the last thing the Braves need right now. They still have a sizable lead in the NL East, but chemistry issues could prove to be detrimental to their performance as a team down the stretch.
Both Acuña and Snitker are vital to the success of this team. They need to be on the same page.
