VIDEO: Braves Phenom Austin Riley Hits Blasts 440-Foot Bomb for First Career Grand Slam
By Scott Rogust

The legend of Austin Riley continues to grow. On Wednesday night at SunTrust Park, the rookie third baseman continued his ridiculous roll ever since being called up by the Atlanta Braves. With his team unfortunately down 14-0 against the Washington Nationals, Riley made his presence known with a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning, the first of his career. The ball traveled well, as Riley knew it was gone as soon as he made contact.
This is @austinriley1308's 14th career game. This is already his 7th HR.

Estimated at 438 feet, it's Riley's seventh homer of the season in just 14 games, and brings his RBI total up to 20. With the May coming to an end, the slugging phenom is certainly making a case for Rookie of the Month.

HR (7): T-2nd most ever behind @Tstory2 (8 HR in 2016).
RBI (20): 2nd most ever behind Jim Greengrass (21 RBI in 1952). pic.twitter.com/odYiwDyRlA
And before long, we could be talking about this guy as a shoo-in for Rookie of the Year. What he's doing is simply eye-popping.
