VIDEO: Braves Pull Out Umbrella Celebration After Josh Donaldson's 2-Run Shot Against Nationals
By Karl Rasmussen
The Bringer of Rain has the perfect new celebration to match his beloved nickname, and he's showing it off as frequently as possible. Josh Donaldson's new home trot sees him carry an imaginary umbrella around the base path, and the veteran was back at it again when he ripped his 35th of the year against the Washington Nationals.
And of course, perhaps the best part of the celebration occurs when he reaches the dugout. Mike Foltynewicz hands him a real umbrella and his teammates start drenching the slugger with water while going buck wild.
And as you can tell from the looks on everyones faces, this is a celebration that rallies the whole Braves team together.
With home run No. 35 now under his belt, Donaldson is playing like the MVP-caliber player he was in the middle of the decade. Hopefully we'll see a few more of this celebration before the regular season ends.
