VIDEO: Brett Favre and Betty White Team up to Introduce Packers-Bears Thursday Night Game
By Jerry Trotta

As most of you are already aware (we'd hope), the 2019 NFL season kicks off Thursday night with a mouth-watering showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears at Solider Field. What you might not know, however, is the fact that tonight's contest marks the start of the league's 100th season. And to celebrate that historic tally, Packers legend Brett Favre and ageless film/television star Betty White teamed up to get fans hyped for the NFC North clash.

As if Betty White couldn't become any more of a legend, she goes out of her way to shout out and pay tribute to late Lambaeu Field icon Bart Starr and the franchise's winningest coach, Vince Lombardi, who delivered five championships to Green Bay during his nine-year tenure.

To think that White has been alive for all but two of the NFL's seasons is mind-boggling and nothing short of remarkable. Couple that history with Favre's Hall of Fame career, and we frankly couldn't think of a better duo to honor the inception of the league's century mark.
