VIDEO: Brett Gardner Crushes 2-Run Homer to Give Yankees Early Lead

The Bombers have been skidding a bit of late, but Brett Gardner has provided the Yankees with just the start they needed during Sunday's matinee. This two-run blast off Shane Bieber allowed the Yankees to breathe a sigh of relief.

Gardner has been slumping of late, but that homer snapped a 0-for-22 slide. The dinger was Gardner's ninth of the season.
That certainly has to feel good for Brett, who took out his frustrations on his batting helmet Saturday. Perhaps this blast can get Gardner and the Yankees going again.
