By Mark Powell

It may only be June, but this series between NL East rivals feels like it belongs in September. Down 8-3 at one point on Friday night, the Atlanta Braves capped an incredible comeback with a 3-run ninth inning to beat the second-place Philadelphia Phillies, increasing their division lead to 2.5 games in the process. They can thank Brian McCann for providing the clutch knock to send all Braves fans home happy at SunTrust Park.

McCann's proven extraordinarily clutch this season, and a valuable addition to an already-dangerous lineup. After Austin Riley knocked home the first run of the inning thanks to an RBI double, McCann came up with a chance to win and delivered.
