VIDEO: Brian McCann Sends a Laser Over the Fence at SunTrust Park Against Nats

With his team down three and the Washington Nationals threatening to pick up a game in the NL East standings, Brian McCann did his part to put up a fight. The Atlanta Braves catcher ripped a laser beam over the right field wall at SunTrust Park to trim the Nationals' lead to just one run.

It couldn't have come at a better time. Washington's starter Anibal Sanchez had been cruising, but the blast knocked him out of the game, forcing the Nationals to rely on their weak bullpen to go the rest of the distance.
It could prove to be just what the Braves needed to turn the game around and keep the streaking Nats at arms length in the standings.
