VIDEO: Broncos Got Absolutely Screwed With Awful Roughing the Passer Call to Set up Bears Winning FG
By Scott Rogust

The Denver Broncos looked to be on the verge of a massive upset victory over the Chicago Bears. A Joe Flacco touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders and a successful two point conversion gave Denver a 14-13 lead. All the Broncos had to do was stop a struggling Mitchell Trubisky and let the clock strike zero. That's what second-year defensive end Bradley Chubb did, hitting him at the exact time Trubisky let go of the ball. Instead, the refs called Chubb for roughing the passer. Take a look for yourself and be the judge.

Brutal call.
The penalty proved to be costly for the Broncos, as Bears kicker Eddy Pineiro hit a 53-yard field goal shortly afterwards to give Chicago the 16-14 win.

The Denver Broncos looked to have their first win of the 2019 season against a tough Chicago Bears team. That was until this controversial penalty.
