VIDEO: Broncos Kicker Brandon McManus Picks Off Drew Lock and Returns it for a TD
By Brian Cass
Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus has been one of the best in the NFL over the past few years, making over 80 percent of his kicks in three out of his last four seasons. He's never been regarded as a great athlete, however, but that may change after he was taped running an interception back to the house against rookie QB Drew Lock in practice.
A kicker pick-six? Now that's something you don't see very often. Sure, the ball may have been out of play and just happened to fall right into McManus's bread basket, but did you see those elusive moves en route to the end zone? He had Emanuel Sanders on skates.
Hopefully Drew Lock avoids throwing interceptions to kickers once the season starts. That wouldn't be the best look for a rookie QB.
