VIDEO: Broncos Rookie Drew Lock Injures Hand on Awkward Fall in Preseason Game Against 49ers
By Mark Powell

It's been a tough night for Broncos rookies against the San Francisco 49ers. This update has very little to do with their ability on the field, however, as both Noah Fant and Drew Lock were forced to leave Denver's second preseason game. While Fant was forced out of the game with a foot issue, Lock injured his hand on a passing attempt in the third quarter.

While most would presume Lock hit his hand on one of his linemen's helmet, the injury actually occurred on a roll-out, as the Missouri product fell awkwardly while trying to escape the pocket.

Lock's return has been deemed questionable, but we'd be surprised if he appears again given it's only a preseason contest.
