VIDEO: Browns CB Denzel Ward Takes Pick-6 to the House vs Bengals

With Baker Mayfield and the Browns offense struggling (again) to muster a rhythm against the Bengals, Freddie Kitchens was desperate for his defense to make a play to change the narrative of the game. Well, cornerback Denzel Ward answered the prayers of his head coach as he intercepted Andy Dalton and subsequently took the pigskin 61 yards to the house for a defensive touchdown.

That simply should have never happened.
Cleveland was playing soft zone coverage and Dalton's pass was thrown woefully behind his receiver and right into Ward's welcoming clutches. Thus, the Browns received exactly the kind of spark they were looking for.
