VIDEO: Browns WR Odell Beckham Accuses Jets' DC Gregg Williams of Telling Players to 'Take Him Out'

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. had some scathing accusations toward Jets defensive coordinator (and former Browns DC) Gregg Williams, claiming Williams had his players target Beckham Jr. in the past. The Browns and Jets will meet in Week 2, which will be OBJ's regular-season return to New York, and here's what the wideout had to say about the upcoming matchup.

Beckham Jr. suffered a high ankle sprain during the 2017 NFL preseason as a member of the Giants, thanks to a hit by Cleveland's Briean Boddy-Calhoun. According to the star wide receiver, Williams told his players to "take him out of the game," information that was relayed to him by current members of the Browns.

The injury would eventually cause OBJ to miss all but four games of the 2017 season, and as the three-time Pro Bowl selection put it, "changed his life forever."

It would be despicable if Beckham Jr.'s accusations against Williams turned out to be true, though Williams was found guilty in the Saints' Bountygate case, so it's not out of the question.

OBJ better hope wearing his wild watch on the field doesn't attract more defenders come Monday night.

The Browns have a big statement to make after their hype train ran off the rails following a Week 1 loss, and taking Beckham Jr.'s history with Williams into account, the star wideout should go into Monday's matchup ready to destroy the Jets' defense.
