VIDEO: Bryce Harper Demolishes 3-Run Shot as Phillies Pounce on Walker Buehler Early
By Brian Cass
After an embarrassing 16-2 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, the Philadelphia Phillies needed to come out swinging on Tuesday to get that bad taste out of their mouths. And that's exactly what they did. After building a 3-1 lead in the second, Bryce Harper came up to bat and broke the game open with this monstrous three-run shot.
The Phils now lead the Dodgers 6-1, so don't be surprised if All-Star pitcher Walker Buehler hits the showers early in this one. He hasn't had many bad outings this season, posting an 8-1 record in 17 starts, but he's clearly not hitting his mark in this ball game at Citizen's Bank Park.
Harper hasn't hit as many home runs as fans would've liked thus far, but whenever he sends one out of the yard, it goes way, WAY out.
