VIDEO: Bryce Harper Extends Phillies' Lead Over Padres With Opposite Field 3-Run Blast
By Karl Rasmussen
Don't look now, NL East rivals, but Bryce Harper is heating up at the plate. After sending Phillies fans home happy, walking off the Cubs with a vicious grand slam on Thursday night, Harper was looking to stay hot on Friday. He did just that in the sixth inning, clubbing an opposite field three-run shot.
Most of Harper's home runs are pulled into the right field seats, so it's cool to see the $330 million man take one the other way.
Even he had to stop and admire the shot as it flew over the wall in left field. He's now hit three homers in his past four games, bringing his season tally up to 26.
