VIDEO: Cardinals Break Tie With 4 Runs in the 9th Inning of NLDS Game 1
By Sam Dunn

This Redbirds rally isn't just a rally... it's turned into a ransacking! The Atlanta Braves entered the eighth inning of Thursday's NLDS Game 1 leading the visiting Cardinals 3-1, but their pitching fell apart in short order and allowed the challengers to open the floodgates. Two runs in the eighth made it 3-3, and with the bases loaded in the top of the following inning, Marcell Ozuna delivered a perfect shot down the left-field line off closer Mark Melancon.

Two runs would score, giving the Cards their first lead of the game.
But they weren't done. Just ask Kolten Wong.

Poetically, it was Wong's early error that allowed Atlanta to score the opening run of the game. Of course, things haven't just come full-circle at SunTrust Park-- they've fairly burst at the seams.
