VIDEO: Cardinals Host Blues to Celebrate Stanley Cup Before Game Against Athletics
By Scott Rogust

After losing the Rams to Los Angeles and not seeing a major championship since 2011, the city of St. Louis was rewarded earlier this month after the Blues won the Stanley Cup for the first time in the franchise's 52-year history. With a massive parade in the books, there was only one more thing for the Blues to do, and that was visit the Cardinals at Busch Stadium on Wednesday night.

At the conclusion of the photo-op, it was time for O'Reilly to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

While it was a bit low, O'Reilly gets a free pass, especially considering the Conn Smythe winner's performance helped lead the Blues to glory.
With the Stanley Cup now in the city's proverbial trophy case, Cardinals fans are hoping they can find a way to power themselves to winning the franchise's 12th World Series.
