It's been a rough go of it for the St. Louis Cardinals and their offense, and on Thursday they are looking to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Philadelphia Phillies. It looks like the bats showed up today, as outfielder Marcell Ozuna broke the seal with a monster shot to the opposite field.

It was Ozuna's 16th deep fly of the season, as he's enjoying a tremendous start to the 2019 campaign.

The power show didn't stop there, as veteran catcher Matt Wieters followed up two batters later with another solo homer over the right field fence.

It's amazing what can happen when you finally give Yadier Molina a day off.

Even at his age, if you hang a breaking ball inside, Wieters can make you pay and go deep. That's his third homer in less than 30 at-bats and he's been locked in at the plate.

Hopefully this can be a turning point for St. Louis as the team has struggled of late.
