The Colorado Rockies held a 2-0 lead over the St. Louis Cardinals in the second inning until...they didn't. The Cardinals broke the game wide open with a six-run frame to take the 6-2 lead.

They swiftly expanded that, too, when Matt Carpenter stepped up to the plate again in the very next inning.

The monster frame featured walks, hits, home runs and everything in between for the Cardinals. St. Louis is pushing for the NL Central crown, and consistent innings like this will put them well on their way towards that goal.
